- We recently purchased from Renewal by Andersen of Buffalo, NY 4 double hung windows, 6 casement windows, 3 sliding glass patio doors with side panels, and an entry door. We are very happy with the updated appearance of the new windows and doors. The maintenance free construction will eliminate costly upkeep. - I wish to compliment your company regarding the installation of windows at my residence.
First of all, the installers from Renewal by Andersen of Rochester were very professional and thorough. Their concern for my property both inside and outside the house was exceptional. The installer’s work ethic was first rate, and they did the installation in an efficient and time conscious manner. The surrounding work area was left clean and neat each time they finished for the day.
The product itself is of substantially good quality, all the mitered corners of the sashes are accurate and the internal frames between the panes are clean. In finishing the interior trim, quarter round molding was used and all corners were expertly mitered.
Externally, the trim was custom made here at the jobsite and looks exceptional. Again, all debris was removed and disposed of properly.
I have observed that the sound transmission coefficient of my new windows appears to be 3 to 6 db better then my old windows. Renewal by Andersen Windows have made a noticeable improvement.

- I have known for some time now that I really needed to replace the windows in my home. I spent an extraordinary amount of time researching companies as well as products and found much redundancy. My vision was to keep the natural look of the pine that the original windows in the home offered.
So when I went to the “Home Fair Expo 2010” I was introduced to Renewal by Andersen. The name sounded familiar but not quit. The representative from Renewal by Andersen of Rochester showed me that they have several exterior colors, several interior options and colors, and get this, they custom make their windows to fit the openings in my house.
A few weeks later I was contacted by a Renewal by Andersen representative and an appointment was made. During the appointment I was shown all of Renewal by Andersen’s options and learned that I was losing a very costly amount of heat/ and or cooling through my old windows. The representative understood about my financial obligations and asked me if I would like to take advantage of their easy payment plan. I answered a few simple questions on a form to see if I would qualify.
The first thing I noticed was how much quieter the house seemed to be. The comment I have gotten from family, friends, and a carpenter neighbor were “these are replacement windows? You have to be kidding.” And the price? Well for all that I have gotten, compared to the other so called replacement manufacturers I talked to… These are a bargain.

- We are delighted by our new Renewal by Andersen complete home window installation. Our aging, early 1970’s, vintage wood framed, double hung windows 1.) Leaked air and humidity in the winter, leaving ice and condensation between the window panes, 2.) Due to water and air leakage a significant amount of mold and grime grew on the interior and exterior of the windows and 3.) Expanded and contracted so much because of the wood material the windows were difficult to seal shut in the winter and difficult to open in the warm summer months.
We can already feel the difference in the blocking of the sun’s incoming heat while maintaining pristine outdoor views. The low-emissivity glass, installation and wood composite windows are convenient to clean, easily opened, and securely closed.
